Helpdesk Staff

Please say hello to the folks at the Help Desk. Director of Campus Service Paul Shper oversees the Help Desk with Help Desk Manager Matthew Stewart. Karen Murray returns as Assistant Manager. Afternoons and evening are also staffed by Joan Gaboriault and Ian Smiley. Overnight shifts are staffed by Jessie Cairo and Joan Gaboriault.
Student Life Staff

Contact Student Life staff at extension #555 or 479-4868. Just punch in the phone number you would like a call returned to. Your dorm room extension is listed on your phone in your room. A Student Life staff member will get back to you within as soon as possible and usually within a few minutes.
Campus Safety and Emergency Response

As you walk around campus you may notice a heightened visibility of campus safety staff—their photos are now displayed in various buildings, and Director of Facilities Operations Scott Blanchard, who heads up campus safety and facilities maintenance, will likely introduce himself at opening session.

Staff are working hard to prevent safety issues on campus and to be well prepared to respond to emergencies if they do occur. Staff will keep students and faculty informed of any safety issues if they do occur, and College staff ask that you contact the Help Desk or Campus Safety if you learn of any safety concerns that should be addressed.

Help Desk is extension 278, and emergencies for campus safety staff should be dialed into #333 (Call 911 first if it is a life threatening situation.)
Cell Phone Reception

Cell phone reception is spotty at best in Vermont. On campus, the best location for reception is the Upper Parking Lot near the Greatwood campus entrance.
